DALLAS, Texas - From their single location in Uptown Dallas, Lane Gorman Trubitt, PLLC (“LGT”) was globally recognized by Leading Edge Alliance Global (“LEA”) and INSIDE Public Accounting (“IPA”) as an outstanding accounting firm in three different categories.
LGT was distinguished in IPA’s annual Best of the Best Accounting Firms recognition honoring 50 CPA firms across the country for their overall superior financial and operational performance on more than 70 IPA criteria. The right combination of planning, strategy and execution distinguished LGT as a Best of the Best firm from among more than 500 firms that participated in IPA’s 25th Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms.
“Best of the Best firms aren’t just successful in a financial sense – they’re firing on all cylinders,” says Michael Platt, principal of the Platt Group and publisher of the accounting trade publication, INSIDE Public Accounting. “We look at the whole firm: How do they treat their employees? Are they offering specialized services to their clients? Are they planning now for a new leadership team in the future?”
Shortly thereafter, LEA Global announced LGT the winner of two of its prestigious Edge Awards for its Outstanding Young Professionals Program and Innovative Marketing Initiative at its global conference in Miami Beach. Each award is presented to firms who illustrate LEA’s core belief that continuing success is grounded in being accomplished in all areas of practice development and firm management. LGT is extremely proud to be awarded with two of LEA’s highly competitive awards inspired by the cutting-edge innovations and best practices that help to differentiate LEA members from their competitors.
“We are extremely proud of our Young Professionals group. They are the future leaders of our firm and continue to raise the bar in terms of innovation and dedication. I’m equally proud of our Practice Growth group and our success in harnessing the power of social media to raise brand awareness and expand LGT’s footprint in our market,” says Lucas LaChance, Director of Practice Growth at LGT.

DALLAS, Texas - Effective January 1, 2016, Brad Gross, Partner at Lane Gorman Trubitt, PLLC (“LGT”) and CICPAC board member, is a 2016 TEXO Board of Director. Gross joins 28 of his colleagues in the Dallas/Fort Worth construction industry as directors under the leadership of their president, Meloni McDaniel.
“When I received Russ Garrison’s, 2016 TEXO Chair, call a few months ago, inquiring with me as to whether or not I would be interested in joining the 2016 board, I was taken aback,” said Gross. “What an honor and privilege it will be to serve on TEXO’s board with these great leaders of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex construction industry. I look forward to contributing in every way possible in advancing the mission, vision and goals of TEXO.”
With Gross’ large amount of involvement with TEXO and its history, it is a seamless alliance for him to become a leader of the organization. He proudly brings many years of experience to guide the organization during his board term.
“During my 14 years of service as Treasurer for ABC, I had the privilege of participating in board meetings with some of the most talented leaders of the construction industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. When we merged ABC North Texas and QUOIN to create TEXO in January 1999, everyone involved was excited about what the newly-combined organization could accomplish. After seven years, I am confident in saying that TEXO has not disappointed.”" target="_blank">TEXO Welcomes LGT Partner, Brad Gross, Aboard
